ABOUT:
The newly constructed Statue of Liberty Museum opened in 2019 to offer visitors a stand-alone museum on the island welcoming everyone who wants to hear the story behind Lady Liberty. Slingshot Studio was responsible for bringing the historical imagery to life in the 10 minute, 3-panel immersive film about the compelling story behind one of America’s most iconic symbols. The film leaves viewers with an appreciation for many little known facts surrounding the statue. It not only documents the immense logistical hurdles encountered by the statue’s creators, but also delves into the historical significance behind the gift which commemorated the abolition of slavery in the United States.
